American Legion Post 197
The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, war-time veterans organization, devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is a not-for-profit community-service organization which now numbers nearly 3 million members, men and women, in nearly 15,000 American Legion posts worldwide.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
We are deeply involved in various community events and activities to support veterans and their families. Our commitment extends to participating in parades, organizing veteran ceremonies, and hosting fundraisers to benefit veterans. We also hold regular family-friendly events and gatherings, creating a welcoming space for everyone in the community to come together.
